Tanks-a-Lot: Retro Tank Battles for Apple Devices

Tanks-a-Lot is a multiplayer tank game designed for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. Battle computer-controlled tanks offline or challenge up to 10 players on your local network.

Bright wireframe graphics make the action easy to follow. A tank appears beside a wall. You aim, fire, and move behind cover before the next shell arrives. Each encounter tests your timing, movement, and use of the arena.

Local multiplayer for up to 10 players

Start a shared game, and other players on your local network can find it from the game menu. Friends can request to join while a battle is already running.

The host can approve each request or enable automatic acceptance. With support for up to 10 players, including the host, a small match can grow as more friends join.

Local multiplayer does not require an internet connection or an account. Game traffic stays between the participating devices.

Play offline against bots

Play against up to three computer-controlled tanks without an internet connection.

Choose Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty to adjust the challenge. Practice movement and aiming on Easy, then increase the difficulty as your skills improve.

Bots navigate around obstacles, track opponents, and fire when they have a clear shot. Staying in one place gives them an easier target.

Choose from three arena sizes

Select a Small, Medium, or Large arena before starting a match.

Walls divide the battlefield into connected areas. Obstacles provide cover, while passages create opportunities to approach an opponent from another direction.

Move between cover, check the next opening, and choose when to attack. A clear shot matters, but so does having somewhere to move afterward.

Short rounds with a clear objective

Standard rounds last up to five minutes. Destroy 10 enemy tanks to win before time runs out.

The scoreboard shows the current standings, while the on-screen display tracks your health and reload progress. When your tank is destroyed, you return to the battle after a short countdown.

A close score can make the final seconds count.

Touch, keyboard and mouse, or controller

Tanks-a-Lot supports several ways to control your tank:

  • Touch controls: Drag on the left to drive and on the right to aim. Tap the arena to fire.
  • Keyboard and mouse: Move with the keyboard and aim with the mouse.
  • Game controller: Use a compatible controller for movement, aiming, and firing.

Choose the controls that suit your device and how you like to play.

A retro wireframe world

Glowing tank outlines, geometric obstacles, and a grid beneath your tracks give Tanks-a-Lot its arcade style.

Stars, moving clouds, and a crescent moon form the background to each battle. Impact sparks mark hits, and the arena’s colors change between rounds.

The view stays close to the action, with your cannon in front and enemy tanks moving between cover.

Choose your arena. Challenge the bots or bring your friends. Aim, fire, and keep moving.
